In the year 1917 I became conscious of invisible influences and often received prophetic utterances from them. Many times I was warned: "Hold fast to harmony; chaos is about to fall over the earth." I didn't know what this meant then, but today it is evident. Chaos is everywhere.I first saw and conversed with our elder Brother, John, on February 22nd, 1929, which was a fulfillment of a prophecy given to me in 1921, that when the time was ripe John would speak through my voice. This experience is recorded in "The Tower of Light", in which truth is given about the great spiritual Brotherhood of St. John, now coming into material manifestation.I accepted what I had been told, but I heard nothing more consciously about it until another elder Brother "came down from the hills" and spoke about Love and Brotherhood.Then on the evening of June 14th, 1934, John spoke again in the following words.
It is indeed true that the veil between the material and the spiritual worlds is growing thinner and many mortals will move forward into the realm of the Spirit as naturally as they move from one room into another. You must understand that vibration is the law of nature and that like attracts like, so where no harmony existed on earth, the souls will not meet in the realm of Spirit.The lines of vibration are clearly drawn in the invisible world. In the outer chaotic sphere the people force issues and so cause discord, but in the spiritual world the law of attraction will carry each to his own place where he will find harmony because he is with his own kind.This is the vibratory law. Should one be cruel and intolerant, he will enter a plane where all are of the same nature - this is purgatory. But it is what he has earned by his actions in the material world. So you see that both heaven and hell are created by the people themselves on earth. It behooves the people to watch their action and clear their thoughts. It is through the heart that heaven is made, and not through intellectual theories.

Little by little the fundamental truths set forth in the Sano Tarot revelation will be understood and accepted by all whose consciousness is awake. With this understanding man will be able to lift himself out of the grave in which he has buried himself and know what life really is. You see, realization is greater than knowledge, which is of the mind. Blessed are those who can realize their spiritual heritage. They shall indeed walk and talk with the gods. If you could see the great record sheet on which the thoughts and personal desires of the people are held like insects in a net, you would make it your chief work to create clear ideals and drive them into manifestation. Alas! few people have the power to create a thought and hold it until it materializes.There is an open path before every aspiring soul. Is it possible that after all that is known about the Law of Balance I must come and point the way? Already the wings of the people who are seeking the truth and not just escape from the trials of life are showing. They have nothing to fear. I bid them move forward.
